Coming up we have a middleweight kickboxing rules bout between Marciano Cobb (ranked 2134 p4p, 2277 weight class) and Jamin Destro (ranked 314 p4p, 328 weight class). Cobb comes to the ring accompanied by Miley Cyrus - Party In The U.S.A.. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Jamin Destro!
The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Ivan Kurochkin and Sergei Dronov.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Destro throws out a loose jab but Cobb uses good head movement to avoid it.
Destro misses with a body punch
and Destro takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Cobb moves out of range of the strikes.
Destro misses with the body kick
and Cobb counters with a stiff right hand.
Cobb with a nice calf kick.
Cobb has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Total Impact MMA/KT in the buildup to the fight.
Cobb looks to score with a jab to the body but Destro is just out of range.
Destro tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Cobb was well out of range. Poor timing from Destro.
Cobb is looking to counter with head kicks.
Destro ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Destro lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Cobb has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Destro finds it's way round the side to connect with Cobb's head.
Cobb steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Destro.
Cobb fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Cobb misses the jab.
Cobb tries to close the distance and clinch but Destro swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
A solid leg kick lands there for Destro.

A left lands for Cobb.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Destro tries to move into range but Cobb moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Cobb uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Destro has time to react.
Cobb needs to keep his hands up - Destro had a free shot at his head there.
Cobb fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Destro has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Cobb tries a low kick but Destro avoids it.

Cobb lands a head kick that bluckles Destro and drops him to the canvas. He's still conscious but it looks like it's going to take him the full 10 seconds to get back his senses! He's up on 9 and seems to be just about OK to continue.... the referee agrees and we're back to the action with Cobb no doubt looking to push for a finish!

and Cobb counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Destro lands a really nice looking cross but Cobb seems unphased.

Destro seems to have recovered his senses.
Cobb misses with a lunging right hand
and Destro counters with a thumping low kick.
Destro looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Nice uppercut lands for Destro. That snapped Cobb's head back.

Destro catches his opponent with a big hook that sends him to the canvas! Cobb stumbles back to his feet but will the referee allow it to continue? Cobb walks forwards and this one will be allowed to continue! Come on!

Jamin Destro seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Cobb throws a head kick but Destro moves out of range.

Cobb throws a shot from downtown. Destro moves away and avoids it.
Destro scoring well with a low kick there.
Some bone on bone action there as Destro checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
An inside leg kick lands from Destro.
Destro waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Cobb.
A little feinted left hand from Cobb on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Destro paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.

and Destro takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Cobb forces Destro back against the ropes and clinches.
Cobb has a couple of punches blocked by Destro.
Destro blocking some punches.
With the fighters clinched against the ropes, Cobb creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Cobb.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Jamin Destro will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Danga de danga de dang - Cobb scores with a four punch combination!

Destro throws a jab but it's blocked by Cobb.

Destro ducks into a a hook from Cobb and goes down! He looks in a bit of a mess; will he beat the count?! 4,5,6,7,8 - he's up and looking to carry on! The referee looks into his eyes and sees that he's OK to continue!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Nice body punch from Cobb.
Cobb steps in and throws a big head kick that drops Destro to the mat! Destro looks in trouble, can he beat the count? Cobb is bouncing in a neutral corner joining in with the referee '4,5,6' they both chant. 7,8,9... he's not going to make it! 10! He's out! Cobb jumps onto the ropes and takes in the acclaim from the crowd!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:24 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Head Kick). Marciano Cobb!
Marciano Cobb decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
