The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Diego avoids the body shot from Nurse.
Diego ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Nurse misses with an uppercut
and Diego counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Nurse throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Diego throws a big counter combination but Nurse scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Diego has managed to clinch.
Diego gets through Nurse's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.

I was talking to Diego's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.

Diego breaks the clinch momentarily and cracks Nurse with a big right hook that drops him to the canvas! Nurse looks like he might be in big trouble here! The referee has started the count straight away and we're up to 5 already. Nurse get to one knee - can he make it back to his feet? No, he's flopped back to the mat - he's out - this one is all over!
