Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ryan Doyle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryan Sullivan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sullivan drops Doyle with a nice combination! Sullivan dives into Doyle's guard, looking to finish!

Doyle is rocked!

It looks like Ryan Doyle has been cut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Doyle is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Sullivan cracks Doyle with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Doyle looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Sullivan finish him?

Sullivan wants to clinch up but Doyle keeps it at a distance.
Sullivan throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.

Sullivan rushes Doyle and presses him up against the cage.

Sullivan gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Sullivan tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Doyle walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.

Doyle feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Doyle has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Sullivan is proving hard to escape from.

Sullivan has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Doyle can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Doyle sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Sullivan's guard.

Doyle is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Sullivan doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Doyle.

Doyle is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Sullivan defends it well.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Doyle postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Sullivan to stand up.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Sullivan has hold of Doyle's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Doyle manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Sullivan jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Doyle is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Doyle and Sullivan has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

Ryan Sullivan is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Well Sullivan has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
