The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Penn takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Penn fails with an attempt to clinch.
Penn throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Penn takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Penn moves in looking to clinch but Lorentz pushes him off.
Penn tries to clinch there but Lorentz circles away.
Lorentz swats away the attempt to clinch by Penn.
Penn takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Penn.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Penn looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Jab by Lorentz.
Penn shoots for a takedown but Lorentz saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Penn shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Lorentz as he jumps to the side.

Lorentz paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Penn shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Lorentz pinned against the cage. Lorentz gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jay Dee Penn. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Penn fails in his attempt to clinch.
A little jabbing left from Lorentz on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Lorentz slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.

Lorentz catches Penn with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Lorentz clobbers Penn with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Lorentz throws out a powerful jab.
Lorentz lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Penn is rocked!
Nice uppercut lands for Lorentz. That snapped Penn's head back.
Oh Penn is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Penn misses with a takedown
and Lorentz counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Lorentz shakes his hands by his side, trying to relax. Penn takes his eyes off the ball for a moment - Lorentz sees the opportunity and cracks him with a massive hook! Penn bends double and collapses on top of himself - he's out! The crowd are going absolutely nuts! Wow, what a knockout!
