The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Punchy takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Mayer misses with a wild combination.
Mayer wants to clinch up but Punchy keeps it at a distance.
Punchy walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Punchy moves forwards but Mayer connects with a nice, crisp jab.

Mayer lands a big right hand that sends Punchy crashing to the mat! Mayer stays standing though and waves Punchy back to his feet!

Punchy circles to his right, straight into a beautiful hook by Mayer. Punchy falls face first into the canvas - great knockout victory for Mayer!
