Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Carlos Cabrera (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andy Souwer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Souwer has chosen System Of A Down - Science as his entrance music. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Andy Souwer was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Souwer throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.

Souwer closes the distance and clinches.
Cabrera lands a left hand that snaps the head of Souwer backwards.

Souwer has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Cabrera is trying to keep an underhook but Souwer manages to get the takedown into half guard.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Souwer swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Cabrera closes the distance and clinches up with Souwer, looking for a takedown. Cabrera pushes Souwer against the cage but Souwer circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Cabrera moves in looking to clinch but Souwer pushes him off.

Both fighters circling a little - Souwer finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.

Cabrera feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Souwer looks to land a combination. Cabrera sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Souwer tries to clinch up but Cabrera circles away and keeps his distance.
Cabrera changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Souwer tries to avoid it but Cabrera manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Souwer to the ground. Souwer escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
