The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thibodeaux misses the shot to the body.
Rot looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Rot shoots for a takedown but Thibodeaux saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Nice takedown defense from Thibodeaux. No joy for Rot on that attempt.
Thibodeaux is looking to counter punch.
Thibodeaux ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Rot moves away.
Rot is clearly looking to counter with head kicks.
Rot is looking to clinch but Thibodeaux is avoiding it.
Thibodeaux appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body.
Thibodeaux throws the left hand but Rot avoids the punch easily.
Thibodeaux looks to throw the jab but Rot is out of range.

Rot dives in and scores a takedown into Thibodeaux's guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Rot is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Thibodeaux has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Rot is looking to defend but Thibodeaux has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Rot! Thibodeaux pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Rot taps out and this one is all over!
