Coming up we have a middleweight kickboxing rules bout between Juan Savedra (ranked 4280 p4p, 5628 weight class) and Yuki Suki (ranked 532 p4p, 622 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Suki swings for the body but Savedra moves out of range.
Suki misses with a hook.
Suki throws a jab when Savedra was well out of range.
Savedra doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Suki scores with a sloppy right hand. Savedra should have avoided that one.
Savedra ducks under a wild hook from Suki.
It looked like Savedra wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Suki throws a left and a right that both miss
and Suki takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Savedra takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Suki tries to bum rush Savedra with a series of wild strikes but Savedra uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Suki lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Suki fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Savedra manages to avoid it.
Savedra swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.

Savedra was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.

Suki uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Savedra has time to react.
Savedra ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Suki moves away.

Suki throws a combination. Savedra tries to block but a couple of punches get through.

Savedra is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.

Suki walks straight into devastating uppercut and drops to the floor, clearly wobbled! Can he beat the count? 4,5,6,7... he's up! And he's down again! The ref steps in and calls an end to the fight! What a punch that was!
