Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Mark O Madsen (ranked 2837 p4p, 3057 weight class) and Bobby Drake (ranked 390 p4p, 420 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Mark O Madsen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Bobby Drake!
The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Daniel Blasius and Paulsen Ambrosius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
O Madsen misses with a jab to the body
and Drake counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
It looks like Mark O Madsen has been cut.
Drake moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Drake has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
O Madsen shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Drake napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Drake sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

O Madsen takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

Drake drops O Madsen with a straight right hand, right on the button! Drake follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!
