The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tarlac misses with a two punch combination.

Pierre throws a body punch but Tarlac moves out of range.

Pierre closes the distance and pushes Tarlac back into the cage.
Tarlac tries to work over Pierre's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Tarlac misses with a punch on the inside.
Pierre blocks an uppercut.
Tarlac misses with the head strike.
Tarlac tries a body shot but Pierre blocks it.

Pierre jumps into guard, dragging Tarlac to the mat.

Pierre working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Tarlac doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Tarlac manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Pierre is trying to control the position but Tarlac postures up.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Pierre throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Tarlac escapes and throws Pierre's legs to the side, diving into side control!

Pierre is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Tarlac's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Tarlac's back!

Pierre is working for the choke. I would put my money on him to finish from this position. He's rolled onto his back and has dragged Tarlac with him. Tarlac is trying to defend but Pierre has an arm under the chin now! Tarlac grimaces and is forced to tap out!
