Pretum is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Quiribamba. Clubber Lang has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Lang closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Pretum looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
Lang trying to mount his opponent but Pretum defends it.

Lang stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.

Pretum is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Lang pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Pretum wants to get back to striking at distance but Lang won't allow it.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
I would not like to be Pretum right now.

Lang is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Pretum knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Pretum for a finish.

Lang is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Pretum defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.

Lang looking to break Pretum's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Pretum remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Lang will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!
Pretum manages to reverse the position and now he's in Lang's guard. Nice work there by Pretum.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Lang looking to sit in guard and control but Pretum gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Lang drops down looking for an ankle pick but Pretum pulls his leg out and moves away.

Clubber Lang overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Lang stands up and we're back to a striking position.

Pretum gets caught flat footed, as Lang shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Lang is pushing down on Pretum's leg trying to pass to half guard. Pretum is fighting to maintain full guard but Lang has managed to sneak the leg through.

Lang wants to take a breather but Pretum is having none of it.

Lang is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Pretum is just riding it out for now. Lang eventually gives up the hold.

Lang wants to advance to full mount but Pretum doesn't think that's going to happen and regains full guard instead.

Lang can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Pretum is looking to escape.

Pretum tries to reverse the position but Lang maintains control.
Lang lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
