Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Forrest Griffin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nicolas Zerka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Griffin lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Zerka circles away quickly and effectively.

Zerka shoots for a double leg takedown but Griffin sprawls well. He's pushed Zerka's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Zerka closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Griffin pushes Zerka away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Zerka gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
Zerka really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Griffin. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
You can see the frustration on Griffin's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Griffin cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Well Zerka has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
