Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Curtis Tate Iii (ranked 6659 p4p, 11627 weight class) and Sota Sankari (ranked 111 p4p, 119 weight class). Tate Iii has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sankari moves in looking to clinch but Tate Iii pushes him off.
No luck for Sankari with that takedown attempt.
Tate Iii tries to bum rush Sankari with a series of wild strikes but Sankari uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Sankari looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Sankari shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Tate Iii as he jumps to the side.
Tate Iii half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
Sankari throws a series of punches but Tate Iii avoids them all with ease.
Tate Iii moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

It looks like Sota Sankari has been cut.
Tate Iii checks a leg kick nicely.
A jab from Tate Iii finds it's way through Sankari's defenses.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Tate Iii throws an overhand right that drops Sankari like a sack of potatoes! Tate Iii dives in to finish the fight with more strikes and this one is all over!
