Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Herman Black (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gerald Young (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Black's entrance music is Black Friday. A fine choice. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Black looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Young is fending him off so far but Black persists. Nope, Young circles away and we're back to standing.
Young throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Young seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Young throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Black avoids the head kick by Young.
Black tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Young counters with a big head kick but Black shrugs it off.
Young goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Young takes a swing at Black's ribcage but misses.
Black shoots in looking for a takedown. Young tries to sprawl out of it but Black keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Young manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

A left and a right from Young both land. Nice combination.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

and Young counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Young has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Black goes for a takedown attempt but Young pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Herman Black is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Young drops Black with a right and a left! Young comes rushing in but Black regains his composure and manages to keep Young in guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Young is fighting to break Black's control of his arms but Black is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

Black working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Young doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Young manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Black is working an open guard so Young takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Black tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Young paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Black tries to pull guard but Young holds him up against the cage and eventually Black drops back down to his feet.
The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch.

Black jumps guard and drags Young to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

Young has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Black to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Young is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Black pulls down on the head and he's put Young to sleep! This one is all over!
