The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Peterson ducks right into an uppercut from Fox.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Peterson will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Fox defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Peterson.
Fox lands a two punch combo.
Peterson on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Jab, jab by Fox - just one landing.
Fox lands a nice looking body shot.
Peterson swings away with a body shot that misses
and Peterson takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

It looks like Jake Peterson has been cut.
A jab lands there for Fox.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Peterson throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Fox counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Peterson misses with a takedown
and Fox counters with a straight right hand.
Platinum Fox has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jake Peterson.
A thudding body kick lands there by Fox!
Peterson looks winded!
Peterson takes a shot to the body in his stride.

Fox cracks Peterson with an uppercut from hell and Peterson crumples to the canvas, he's out! Oh no, he's recovered and he's grabbed one of Fox's legs and pulled him into guard. The ref thought about stopping it there but he's let it go - good reffing!

Peterson is rocked!
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Fox forces his way into half guard.
Peterson is still in real trouble! Can Fox finish him?

Fox is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Peterson is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!

Platinum Fox tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
