Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Sean Dickinson (ranked 1500 p4p, 1017 weight class) and Bryant Smith (ranked 193 p4p, 138 weight class). Dickinson comes to the cage accompanied by Resurrection - Chris Travis. Smith has chosen Television - Marquee Moon as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 20 - 14 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bryant Smith!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Don Winkell and Jack Bonds.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith's corner calls for a 1-2. Smith obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Smith thows a body kick. Dickinson tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Dickinson catches Smith with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Dickinson takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Smith throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Smith lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Dickinson at a distance.
Smith misses with a double jab.
Dickinson looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger.
Smith throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Dickinson swings for the body but Smith moves out of range.
Dickinson scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Dickinson ducks under a wild hook from Smith.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
A low kick from Smith is predictable there
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Smith.
Good standup being displayed there by Dickinson as he connects with a hook.
Smith takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Dickinson with a nice cross.
Dickinson connects with a right hand. Smith shakes it off.
Smith just misses with a punch to the body.
Dickinson scoring well with a low kick there.
A solid leg kick lands there for Dickinson.

Dickinson feints a jab promting Smith to slip. Dickinson then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Smith slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

Smith missing with a left hand there. Dickinson was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Dickinson moves forwards but Smith connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Dickinson is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.

Smith has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Dickinson.
Dickinson uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Smith.
Dickinson swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.

A jab from Dickinson finds it's way through Smith's defenses.
Bryant Smith seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Dickinson scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Smith throws a front kick aimed at Dickinson's knee but Dickinson avoids it well.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Smith avoids a punch combination nicely.
Smith looks to throw a body kick
and Dickinson cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Smith is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Dickinson rather than just go for the knockout.
Smith steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Dickinson.
Smith on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Dickinson. Dickinson obviously looking to wear him down.
A looping hook to the body misses from Smith. Dickinson does a little dance to reset his feet.
Dickinson rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Smith moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Smith appeared to try and counter that last move with a leg kick.
Smith throws a head kick that looked like it stung.

It looks like Sean Dickinson has been cut.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Dickinson connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Smith throws a half hearted mid kick.
Dickinson half committed to a counter leg kick.
Dickinson swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Smith tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Dickinson was well out of range. Poor timing from Smith.
Dickinson keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Smith.
Smith will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Smith works over Dickinson's head and body with a nice combination.
Dickinson is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
Smith connects with a right that clearly hurt Dickinson. He's backed up against the cage with nowhere to go as Smith proceeds to tee off with vicious combinations till Dickinson collapses and taps out under the pressure!
