Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Raul Sanchez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dale English (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
English wants to clinch.
Sanchez misses with an attempted mid kick.
The fight stays on the outside here - English looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
English shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Sanchez pinned against the cage. Sanchez gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Sanchez tries to clinch but English moves out of range.

English scores with a knee to the head.
English pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.
English lands a nice elbow from the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

English drops down looking for an ankle pick but Sanchez pulls his leg out and moves away.

English shoots for a takedown but Sanchez saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Raul Sanchez has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dale English.

and Sanchez decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in English's guard.

Sanchez stands and steps away. English gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Sanchez has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics English uses from the top position.

Sanchez has his feet on English's thighs here. He's pushed English off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! English screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
