Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Seamus Ohoulihan (ranked 1194 p4p, 1230 weight class) and Jonathan Boaler (ranked 156 p4p, 166 weight class). Ohoulihan comes to the cage accompanied by Bill Conti - Going The Distance. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boaler throws a series of punches but Ohoulihan avoids them all with ease.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Ohoulihan enables Boaler to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Ohoulihan manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

The fighters are working up against the cage. Ohoulihan manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Boaler will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Ohoulihan up against the cage.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Ohoulihan drops Boaler with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Boaler looks back up at him and smiles so Ohoulihan waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Seamus Ohoulihan decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
