Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Death Minister (ranked 905 p4p, 2766 weight class) and Radoslav Petrov (ranked 121 p4p, 347 weight class). Minister comes to the cage accompanied by Rhapsody of Fire. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
An inside leg kick lands from Minister.
Minister pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Petrov looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Petrov swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Minister.
Minister misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Petrov.
Minister misses with a right hand
and Petrov counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Petrov misses with a looping left.
Minister throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Petrov sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Minister's jab looks to have found its range, popping Petrov under the eye.
We've been told by Minister's head coaches at Catch Wrestling L.A. that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Minister drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.

Minister is rocked!
Minister motions for Petrov to come forward. Minister throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Oh Minister is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Minister throws a jab when Petrov was well out of range.
Minister seems to have got his legs back now.
Minister jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Nice defenses there by Petrov.

Petrov lands a big right hand that sends Minister crashing to the mat! Petrov stays standing though and waves Minister back to his feet!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Minister fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Petrov manages to avoid it.

A decent looking body kick lands there for Minister.

Death Minister seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Minister throws a sloppy head kick and Petrov moves out of range easily.
Petrov looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Petrov throws a low kick but Minister moves out of range easily.
Petrov misses with a head kick.
Minister throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Petrov jabs Minister right on the nose. Minister blinks but takes it well.

Minister throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Petrov looks to land a combination. Minister sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Minister ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Petrov moves away.
Petrov ducks under a wild hook from Minister.
Minister thows a leg kick but Petrov checks it
and Petrov connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Minister scores with a crisp jab that stopped Petrov in his tracks.
Some bone on bone action there as Petrov checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.

Minister will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Petrov throws a looping overhand right but Minister ducks down to avoid it.
Petrov throws a leg kick which misses Minister's front leg but catches the back leg as Minister tries to avoid it.
Minister throws a shot from downtown. Petrov moves away and avoids it.
Petrov lands a brutal head kick. Minister looks out on his feet and Petrov throws more strikes until the ref is forced to stop the fight!

After the fight, Radoslav Petrov was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
In defeat, Death Minister stepped up to the mic, saying 'You have survived the Death Minister, you mortal life has been spared for now.'.
