Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Hanzo Hattori (ranked 1777 p4p, 23633 weight class) and Kazuma Kiryu (ranked 266 p4p, 711 weight class). Hattori's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Red Warrior. Kazuma Kiryu has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hattori looks to land a combination but Kiryu avoids it well.
Hattori misses with a looping left.
Hattori's corner calls for a 1-2. Hattori obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

It looks like Kazuma Kiryu has been cut.
Kiryu tries to score with a low kick but Hattori moves his leg out of the way.
Hattori throws the left hand but Kiryu avoids the punch easily.

Kiryu throws out a counter right but Hattori avoids it with no problem.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

A little jabbing left from Kiryu on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Hanzo Hattori seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Hattori, as that shot connected.

and Kiryu counters with a good, hard body kick but Hattori shrugs it off.

and Kiryu makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Hattori tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.

Kiryu buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Hattori throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Kiryu sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Kiryu unleashes a big counter combination but Hattori bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
Hattori looks to land a left hand but Kiryu moved out of range nicely.

Hattori lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.

That has opened up Kazuma Kiryu's cut even more.

Hattori throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Nice uppercut lands for Kiryu. That snapped Hattori's head back.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Hanzo Hattori will probably get the nod.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Crack! Kiryu connects with the perfect overhand right and Hattori falls face first to the canvas. Timbeeeeeeeer! Beautiful knockout for Kiryu!
