PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Maxwell Patelle (ranked 6399 p4p, 4150 weight class) and George Marcus (ranked 622 p4p, 488 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Patelle looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Marcus!

Patelle tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Patelle has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

That was a close second round but I would say that Maxwell Patelle will probably get the nod.

You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.

Marcus is in a bad position with Patelle working for a choke. Marcus manages to spin nicely into guard and the danger is over for the moment.

Patelle escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Marcus gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Patelle, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
