Petrov pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Amery back to the cage. Petrov follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Petrov connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.

and Petrov connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Amery wants to clinch up but Petrov keeps it at a distance.

Amery throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Petrov sees it coming and avoids it easily.

and Petrov counters with a stiff right hand.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Horrible takedown attempt by Amery or perhaps it was just good defense by Petrov, which made it look bad.
Amery shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Petrov defends it nicely.
