The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mankiller takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Mankiller tries to clinch but Reyes moves away
and Reyes counters with a stiff right hand.
The fighters circling - Mankiller throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Mankiller swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Mankiller takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Reyes slips a jab from Mankiller .
Reyes throws out a counter right but Mankiller avoids it with no problem.

Mankiller instigates a clinch.

Mankiller escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Tomahawk Mankiller seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Mankiller darts in and clinches Reyes up against the cage.

Mankiller breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

and Reyes counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Mankiller takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Mankiller throws out a loose jab but Reyes uses good head movement to avoid it.

Mankiller seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
