The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Nice sprawl there from Xanthopoulos as Sukarman shoots in.
Sukarman shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Sukarman misses with a jab, cross combination.
Xanthopoulos tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Sukarman manages to circle out of the way.

Sukarman shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Xanthopoulos as he avoids it easily.
A little feinted left hand from Xanthopoulos on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Sukarman fails with a takedown attempt.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Sukarman shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Xanthopoulos as he jumps to the side.
Xanthopoulos is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Sukarman.
Sukarman shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Xanthopoulos counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
