Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hiza Guruma (ranked 5366 p4p, 6320 weight class) and Radisa Ilic (ranked 587 p4p, 634 weight class). The key to victory for Hiza Guruma has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Guruma tries to close the distance and clinch up but Ilic swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Ilic just misses with a punch to the body.
Guruma takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Guruma is looking to clinch.
Guruma fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Ilic on the side of the head.
Guruma avoids the body shot from Ilic.
Ilic fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Guruma manages to avoid it.

Radisa Ilic seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Ilic lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Guruma down.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Let's hope that Ilic has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

The strikes coming from Ilic are missing the target in this wave of attacks.
Guruma takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
Guruma seems a little lost for a moment, as Ilic dominates the positioning.
Ilic postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.

Guruma could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Ilic ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Guruma moves away.
