Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Cezar Bononi!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Booger Magee!
The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, Franklyn Lucas and Jorge Garcia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Magee uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Bononi has time to react.
Nice body punch from Bononi.
Bononi catches Magee with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Bononi throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Magee sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Bononi seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Nice jab there from Bononi.
The fighters circling - Magee throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Magee wants to clinch
and Bononi counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Bononi scores with a three punch combo!
Bononi lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Magee misses with a hook. Bononi ducked under it nicely.
Magee throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Bononi sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Bononi missing with a left hand there. Magee was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Bononi lands a left and a right that send Magee crashing to the mat, dazed. Bononi thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Bononi jabs Magee to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Magee throws a lazy body kick
and Bononi counters with a crisp right that sends Magee to the canvas! Bononi follows up with punches from the mount and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:50 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Cezar Bononi!
As Cezar Bononi got his breath back, he grabbed the microphone and managed to blurt out the following: Free facial reconstruction .....YOURE WELCOME!!!'.
