PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Vernon Creed (ranked 3702 p4p, 23113 weight class) and Jedi Rebel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jedi Rebel told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Vernon Creed!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jedi Rebel!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Timothy Bukovac and Don Winkell.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Creed scores with a push kick.
Creed keeps Rebel at a distance using the push kick.
Creed throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Rebel sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Creed ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Creed - that will leave a mark!
Rebel ducks under a wild hook from Creed.
A jab from Creed does it's job there.

Creed feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Rebel sprawling to the canvas! Rebel rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Creed finish him?!

Rebel is rocked!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Rebel drops his hands for a split second and Creed immediately capitalizes on the opportunity by smashing a powerful hook into Rebel face, sending his mouthguard sailing through the air, much to the delight of the crowd. Creed follows up with a right hand that knocks Rebel into next week. He's out cold and this fight is over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Vernon Creed!
After the fight, Vernon Creed was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
