Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Mason Marmot !
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Victor Flores!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Colin Fotheringham and William Gold.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Marmot pushes Flores up against the cage in a clinch.
Flores stops a takedown attempt from Marmot .
Flores jumps guard but Marmot turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
Marmot is working for takedown but Flores is calmly controlling the position for now.
Flores leaning his opponent against the cage.
Flores has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Marmot avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Flores lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Marmot effectively controlling the action here.
Marmot wants to take the fight to the mat but Flores manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mason Marmot . That's going to take a lot out of him.

Marmot pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Marmot throws a sloppy head kick and Flores moves out of range easily.
Marmot will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Flores throws a counter combo.
Marmot closes this distance looking for a takedown but Flores circles away.
Flores lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Marmot backs up against the cage.
Flores tries to clinch up but Marmot circles away and keeps his distance.
Flores tries for a takedown but Marmot sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Flores clinches with his opponent.
Flores misses with a hook from the clinch.
Flores goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Marmot tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Flores just stands there and leans against the cage.
Flores keeps control of Marmot as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
A body shot lands from Flores.
Flores jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Marmot walks away with a smile on his face. Flores gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Flores darts in and clinches Marmot up against the cage.

Flores decides to pull guard.
Flores is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Marmot is controlling him.
Marmot wants to control from the top but Flores keeps moving.
Flores seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Marmot prevents Flores from getting back to his feet.
Flores pulls Marmot in close to his closed guard and prevents Marmot from doing any damage or advancing position.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Flores looking for a sweep. Not yet Flores, not yet.
Marmot postures up.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Flores is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
A counter left hand to the body from Marmot misses its target.
Flores swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Marmot .
Flores keeps the fight on the outside.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Flores! But no joy.
Flores tried to score with a low kick but Marmot checks it.
Flores shoots in looking for a takedown. Marmot tries to sprawl out of it but Flores keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Marmot manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Flores throws the kick towards the body but Marmot avoids it.

Flores gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Flores tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Marmot is looking to break free of the clinch but Flores has double underhooks.
Marmot stops a takedown attempt from Flores.
Flores is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Marmot is defending well.

Marmot jumps guard and drags Flores to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Flores wants to stand but Marmot has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Flores has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Marmot to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Flores is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Marmot pulls down on the head and he's put Flores to sleep! This one is all over!
