Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Maksud Magomedov!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jeppe Bjoergen!
The judges for this bout are Topper Green, Hugh Johnson and Donatello Bradman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck for Magomedov with that takedown attempt.
Bjoergen throws a big counter head kick but Magomedov avoids it with no problem.
Magomedov lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Bjoergen tries to keep at a distance but Magomedov has taken the fight into the clinch.
Magomedov lands a shoulder strike.
It looks like Jeppe Bjoergen has been cut.
Magomedov lands a takedown into guard.
Bjoergen is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Magomedov dives into side control.
Bjoergen tries to bench press Magomedov off him but Magomedov keeps the position.
Bjoergen has found himself in a tricky position here. He's been working his transitions in training so let's see if he can work his way out of it.

Bjoergen keeps trying to improve his position.
Bjoergen sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
Bjoergen wants to get back to full guard.
Magomedov working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Jeppe Bjoergen's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Jeppe Bjoergen's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Maksud Magomedov!
A relieved looking Maksud Magomedov thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
