The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Da Silva shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Da Silva tries a head kick but it misses.
Soprano shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Da Silva pinned against the cage. Da Silva gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Soprano bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Da Silva knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Soprano on the ground.

Soprano tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Soprano has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Da Silva tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Soprano cranks the arm and Da Silva screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Da Silva, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
