Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Anton Gardner!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Timothy Bukovac and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gardner misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Pulkkinen.
Gardner misses with a hook. Pulkkinen ducked under it nicely.
Pulkkinen uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Gardner.
Pulkkinen went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Pulkkinen lands a left and a right that send Gardner crashing to the mat, dazed. Pulkkinen thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Gardner is rocked!
It looks like Anton Gardner has been cut.
Pulkkinen and Gardner are patiently standing in front of each other looking for an opening. Pulkkinen throws a head kick. It's landed, knocking Gardner into next week! Ooooh that was huge! Pulkkinen knows it - he's on the cage flexing is biceps. That's a bit weird considering he won by kick but whatever.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:17 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Sepi Pulkkinen!

Sepi Pulkkinen decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
