The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hasler bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Hasler is trying to get an arm triangle but Kharimvotrik is defending well.
Kharimvotrik tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Hasler wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Hasler has hold of Kharimvotrik's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Kharimvotrik seems comfortable defending it but Hasler has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Kharimvotrik is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Kharimvotrik is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Hasler couldn't care less - he's delighted!
