Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mountain Rivera (ranked 6277 p4p, 4104 weight class) and Yuri Blanco (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Yuri Blanco was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 32 - 120 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mountain Rivera!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Yuri Blanco!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Daniel Franklin and Tiny Johnson.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rivera dives in and grabs Blanco's left leg, looking for a takedown. Blanco pushes down on Rivera's head and hops out.
Blanco stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Blanco wants it to stay on the feet.
Rivera throws a series of punches but Blanco moves out of range.
A head kick from Blanco lands but Rivera takes it in his stride.

Blanco drops Rivera with a right and a left! Blanco comes rushing in but Rivera regains his composure and manages to keep Blanco in guard.

It looks like Mountain Rivera has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Blanco stands and steps away. Rivera gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Blanco throws a front kick that sends Rivera stumbling back into the cage.
Rivera fails to land the takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mountain Rivera. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Blanco fakes the leg kick and cracks Rivera in the body.
Rivera is breathing heavily.
Blanco throws a nice inside leg kick.
Blanco lands a hook that stumbles Rivera back into the cage. Blanco follows up with a straight and another hook that land right on the button, dropping Rivera to the canvas! Blanco pounces and lands several unanswered shots - Rivera has had enough and taps out! This one is all over!
