Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Judo throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Thompson tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Judo is in Thompson's guard.
Judo wants to pass the guard but Thompson is keeping the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Thompson is trying to control the position but Judo postures up.
Thompson being controlled here, momentarily.
Thompson keeping moving, preventing Judo from controlling successfully.
Judo not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Judo pushes down on Thompson's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Thompson could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Judo takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

Judo tries to pass to full mount but Thompson defends it.
Judo throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Thompson is in trouble now - Judo has advanced to mount!
Judo sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!
Judo misses with a head shot.
Judo looking to control and managing it successfully.
Thompson is squirming around, avoiding Judo's attempts to control the action.

Thompson on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Thompson tries to get out of the position.
Poor strikes thrown by Judo there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
Thompson knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Judo on the ground.
Thompson wants to hold on but Judo pushes him away.

Judo jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Thompson manages to avoid the submission attempt.

Judo is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Thompson looks calm but he's in trouble here. Judo gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Thompson is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Judo lets go of the hold and Thompson can pop his arm back in it's socket.
