Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ciro Terranova (ranked 83 p4p, 42 weight class) and Jean-Claude Marceau (ranked 13 p4p, 4 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Marceau's choice of entrance music: Feist - Tout Doucement. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Terranova blocks a jab.
Marceau slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.

Marceau lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Marceau lands a big head kick that sends Terranova tumbling to the mat! Marceau takes a step backwards and waves Terranova back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Marceau throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Terranova connects with a leg kick.
Terranova tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Marceau was well out of range. Poor timing from Terranova.

Terranova cracks Marceau with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
