The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice defenses there by Gunn.
Gunn takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Gunn misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Dickson moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Dickson looks to score with a jab to the body but Gunn is just out of range.
Gunn scores with a nice strike.
Dickson misses the jab.
Dickson ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Gunn closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Dickson misses the jab.
Nice straight punches there by Dickson. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Dickson.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Gunn throws a right and a left that both miss.
Gunn uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Dickson.
Dickson lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Dickson throws a big shot that misses.
Gunn throws a head kick that misses.
Dickson throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Gunn sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Gunn lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!

Dickson scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Dickson lunges at Gunn with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Gunn's hand.

Gunn lands a big head kick that sends Dickson tumbling to the mat! Gunn takes a step backwards and waves Dickson back to his feet - he wants the finish!

This has been an exciting period of action!
Gunn throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Gunn moves out of range of the strikes.
Gunn drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Dickson defends it well.
Dickson misses with a hook
and Gunn counters with a series of strikes that practically lifts Dickson off his feet! He tumbles backwards, his head bouncing off the mat - Gunn follows up with more strikes before the ref can step in but Dickson was out before he hit the floor.
