Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between vladimir dragunov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and al capone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). dragunov kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Russia. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Gwen Towbar and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
capone misses with a two punch combination.
dragunov tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
dragunov wants to clinch.
dragunov tries to clinch up but capone circles away and keeps his distance.
dragunov really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
dragunov tries to close the distance and clinch but capone swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

dragunov tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but capone paws at him with a jab and circles away.

capone stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. dragunov swivels though and keeps the full guard.
dragunov has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but capone can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as capone holds on and takes a little breather.
dragunov is looking to work some ground and pound but capone has wrist control.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
capone closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - capone lands in his opponent's guard.
dragunov is trying to keep capone in close.
capone pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. dragunov is keeping the position for now.
dragunov looking for a guillotine here but capone defends easily.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
