Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 21 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Santu Avisu Kona!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Frank Antenori and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McCarty on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
It looks like Darren McCarty has been cut.
Avisu Kona gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
McCarty swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
McCarty throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Avisu Kona fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Avisu Kona misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from McCarty.
Avisu Kona connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.

McCarty lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Avisu Kona backs up against the cage.
Avisu Kona cracks a nice hook into McCarty's ribs.

The fighters circling - McCarty throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
McCarty takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
McCarty takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Avisu Kona connects with the punch.
McCarty is rocked!
McCarty tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Avisu Kona was well out of range. Poor timing from McCarty.
McCarty takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Oh McCarty is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
McCarty just misses with a punch to the body.

Avisu Kona lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
Avisu Kona drops McCarty with a naaaaasty hook - McCarty is in real trouble here! Avisu Kona dives in to side control and pounds out his opponent for a TKO victory! The crowd goes nuts!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:51 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Santu Avisu Kona!

A very excited looking Santu Avisu Kona rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
