The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tryastsyn takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Tryastsyn throws a body punch but Richards moves out of range.
Richards throws a head kick but Tryastsyn moves out of range.
Tryastsyn looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Tryastsyn throws out a loose jab but Richards uses good head movement to avoid it.
Tryastsyn smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Richards misses with a body shot.
Tryastsyn swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Richards lands a nice looking body shot.
Good shot there by Tryastsyn.
Richards ducks under a wild hook from Tryastsyn.
Richards pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Richards throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Richards connects with a body shot that sends Tryastsyn's belly button to the back.
A slow jab from Tryastsyn misses its intended target.
Tryastsyn misses with a lunging right hand
and Richards connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
A looping hook to the body misses from Richards. Tryastsyn does a little dance to reset his feet.

Tryastsyn drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Tryastsyn in side control lands a decent elbow.

Tryastsyn working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
My spies in St Petersburg MMA Gym inform me that Tryastsyn has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends!
Tryastsyn landing strikes.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Tryastsyn lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Richards down.
Richards manages to get back to half guard.
Tryastsyn looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Tryastsyn scores with a couple of good hammerfists.

Richards is rocked!
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Tryastsyn connects with a nice short shot to Richards's temple.
Oh Richards is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Richards is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Tryastsyn is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Tryastsyn lands a big elbow - Richards is out of it! He's waving his arms around but his eyes are closed and he's not intelligently defending himself - the ref has no choice but to jump in and stop the fight! This one is in the books! A TKO win for Tryastsyn!
