And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Ron Honeybunn, Winston Howard and Hugh Johnson.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tribute staying out of range there.
Veidt throws a right hand that misses
and Tribute counters with a nice uppercut.

It looks like Victor Veidt has been cut.
Veidt looks to land a left hand but Tribute moved out of range nicely.
Tribute appears to be looking for a big counter.
Veidt misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Tribute.
Tribute quickly followed up with a counter body kick but doesn't connect.
A swing and a miss from Veidt.
Tribute uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Veidt.
Tribute swings for the body but Veidt moves out of range.
Tribute looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Tribute tries to land a front kick but Veidt steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Veidt! But no joy.
Veidt throws a jab but it's blocked by Tribute.
Tribute with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Veidt to score with a decent uppercut.

It looks like Tank Tribute has been cut.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Veidt takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

and Tribute counters with a straight right hand.
Veidt thows a left - swing and a miss!
We've been informed that Veidt has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.

Veidt might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

Veidt scores with a hook to the body. Tribute takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Tribute takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Tribute throws a half hearted mid kick.
Veidt swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Veidt throws out a loose jab but Tribute uses good head movement to avoid it.
Tribute tries to land a front kick but Veidt steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Veidt now looks to counter with a shot at the body.
Veidt misses with a hook.
Veidt clobbers Tribute with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

Veidt looks to land a right hand but Tribute moved out of range.
Veidt waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Tribute.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Veidt misses with an uppercut.
Veidt misses with a straight left.
Tribute feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Veidts jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Veidt swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Tribute comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Veidt ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Tribute moves away.
Veidt keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Nice body kick there by Tribute.
Veidt looks winded!

Tribute drops Veidt with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Veidt looks back up at him and smiles so Tribute waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Veidt throws a poor cross that misses
and Tribute counters with a beautiful right hand that knocks Veidt out cold! What a finish! Tribute is going crazy, running around the mat, summersaulting off the corner posts and screaming into the cameras. Something tells me he's pretty happy!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Tank Tribute!
Tank Tribute looked relieved post fight as he said the following; 'Hare's too nice to even give me a sparring partner to prepare for my upcoming fight for the belt. Who's this guy BTW? Nevermind, Medic!! Medic!! We have a dead man here!! '.
