Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Pat Joplin (ranked 429 p4p, 638 weight class) and Lemmy Bang (ranked 54 p4p, 79 weight class). Joplin's entrance music is Janis Joplin - Cry Baby. A fine choice. Bang has chosen For Heavy Metal we will die! as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 22 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Pat Joplin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Lemmy Bang!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Percy O'Donnell and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bang throws a right hand that Joplin ducks under and follows up with a left that Joplin also avoids with ease.
Joplin appeared to be looking to counter that last move with a leg kick.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.

Bang working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Joplin doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Joplin manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Our spies down at at Heavy Metal inform us that Bang has really been working on his submissions in the buildup to this fight. Will it pay off?

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Joplin, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
