Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Frankie Yani!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Floruit Biggus!
The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, Russell Pearce and Steve Montenegro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Biggus looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Frankie Yani seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Biggus.
Yani changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
Biggus shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Yani as he jumps to the side.
Frankie Yani has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Floruit Biggus.
Yani throws a quick inside leg kick.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Yani throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Biggus was covering up waiting for the punch and Yani finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Biggus is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Yani not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Biggus working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Yani doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Yani manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Yani is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Biggus working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Yani.
Biggus looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Yani controlling from the top position.

Yani looking to sit in guard and control but Biggus gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Yani looking to control.
Yani wants to sweep but no luck.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Biggus wants to control from the top but Yani keeps moving.

Biggus passes Yani's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Yani keeping control of the position.
Biggus is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Yani is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Floruit Biggus!
A less than humble Floruit Biggus misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
