Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Anthony Joshua (ranked 2985 p4p, 4281 weight class) and Magomed Magomedov (ranked 371 p4p, 485 weight class). The key to victory for Anthony Joshua has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Magomedov stuffs the takedown.
Joshua fails with a takedown attempt.
Joshua goes for a double leg but Magomedov avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Magomedov continues to drive forward.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Anthony Joshua. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Joshua tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Magomedov just stands there and leans against the cage.

Magomedov has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Joshua regains guard immediately.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Magomedov connects with a nice short shot to Joshua's temple.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Magomedov lands a nice short elbow.
