The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bangs avoids the head kick by Hawthorne.

Bangs has Hawthorne up against the cage in a clinch.

Hawthorne breaks from the clinch.
Good exchange - Hawthorne coming out on top.
Bangs tries to clinch there but Hawthorne circles away.
Bangs closes the distance but Hawthorne moves to the side
and Hawthorne counters with a lovely straight right hand!

Bangs tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Hawthorne manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Bangs moves into range and clinches up with Hawthorne.

Hawthorne pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Bangs shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Bangs throws the left hand but Hawthorne avoids the punch easily.
Hawthorne throws a combination. Bangs tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Bangs walks into a stiff left hand from Hawthorne.
Hawthorne keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Bangs.
Hawthorne works over Bangs's head and body with a nice combination.

Hawthorne lands with a precision combination! Left, right, uppercut and Bangs falls flat on his face, eyes wide open but he's out!
