The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fower throws a right hand that campbell ducks under and follows up with a left that campbell also avoids with ease.
Fower connects with a nice looking jab.

It looks like josh campbell has been cut.
Fower could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

campbell looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Fower!
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, campbell cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
campbell trying to control but Fower is having none of it.

campbell is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Fower has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Fower!

campbell looking for subs off his back but Fower has passed one foot through into half guard.
Fower lands with a punch from half guard.
campbell wants to get back to his feet.
Fower is trying to control the action in half guard but campbell is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

campbell pushes Fower off and gets back to his feet.
campbell tries to close the distance and clinch but Fower swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Fower shoots and misses

and campbell decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Fower's guard.

Fower has his foot on campbell's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. campbell works his way back into a safe position though.

campbell would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

campbell postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Fower looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
campbell looking to sit in guard and control but Fower gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
campbell pulls Fower in close to prevent any damage.
campbell tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Fower decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on campbell, up you get!

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Fower is looking to clinch.

Fower shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Fower looking to control and managing it successfully.
Fower tries to control but campbell wriggling away.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
campbell tries to improve his position but instead Fower has taken his back!

Fower looking for the choke but no joy.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Fower is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. campbell defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Will Fower will probably get the nod.

That's time! Fower's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Fower escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. campbell gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
campbell wants to control from the top but Fower keeps moving.

Fower has his feet on campbell's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.
campbell misses with a takedown attempt - Fower sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Nice takedown defense from campbell. No joy for Fower on that attempt.

Fower uses the cage to get back to his feet.

and campbell cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Fower tries to clinch there but campbell circles away.
Fower tries to score with a low kick but campbell moves his leg out of the way.

campbell shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as campbell accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Fower looking for a sweep. Not yet Fower, not yet.
Fower is working hard here to advance position.

Fower working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. campbell doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. campbell manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

campbell is going olschool here, as he tries to force Fower to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Fower shrugs it off.
campbell tries to push Fower's head away but Fower is holding on tight.
campbell throws some wild stikes that Fower manages to avoid easily.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Fower holds on to campbell around his waist, trying desperately to prevent any attacks.
Fower reaches up to try and control the position but campbell seems to have an arm triangle now! Uh oh! Fower rolls and tries to escape and now campbell has his back!

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Fower just trying to survive but campbell is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish.
I really don't envy Fower right now.
Fower turns into campbell and is now in his guard.

Fower wants to pass to mount but campbell is defending the position.

campbell feints and as Fower raises his hands in defense, campbell changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

campbell is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.
