Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ethan Hartin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Weng Fang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ethan Hartin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Weng Fang!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Robert Twigg and Wesley Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fang fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Fang misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Fang shoots in for a double leg but Hartin sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Ethan Hartin has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Weng Fang.
Hartin will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Hartin lands an overhand right.

Fang wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Hartin, who protects the arm well.

Hartin is looking to regain half guard here but Fang keeps moving and retains side control.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Fang thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Fang is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Hartin is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Hartin decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.

Fang throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Hartin's waist but Hartin gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Fang off to one side.

Hartin gets caught flat footed, as Fang shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Hartin not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Fang won't allow Hartin to get back to his feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Weng Fang dominated that round.

Fang fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Hartin sprawls well initially but Fang persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Hartin won't allow Fang to pass to mount.
Hartin knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Fang on the ground.
Hartin is in trouble now - Fang has advanced to mount!

Fang is working for a guillotine from mount but Hartin frees his head quite easily.

Fang jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Hartin is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Hartin and Fang has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
