Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jake Ellen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kimbo Slice (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ellen moves into the clinch.
Slice looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Ellen cracks Slice with a nice body shot.

Ellen manages to pull guard.
Ellen is controlling Slice's posture.
Ellen bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Slice's guard.
Ellen wants to get up but he can't break Slice's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Ellen pushes down on Slice's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Well, if Ellen is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Slice trying to control but Ellen postures up.

Slice is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Slice is looking to escape.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Ellen is figuring out what he wants to do next.

Ellen is working for a kimura but Slice is defending it quite comfortably.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Ellen is taking a breather. Slice says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Ellen wants to pass to mount but Slice is defending the position.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

The referee stands the fighters back up. Jake Ellen just wasn't active enough from the dominant position.
Ellen explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.

Ellen has Slice up against the cage in a clinch.
Ellen wants a takedown but no success here.
Nice body punch from Ellen - that landed with a thud.

Ellen turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Ellen manages to end up in side control.
Ellen takes a little break here. Slice wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.

Ellen's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
Slice is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Ellen has just dragged him back down to the mat.

Ellen decides to stand up, so the ref orders Slice to his feet.
Ellen misses with a series of wild punches.
Ellen is looking to clinch but Slice is avoiding it.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Ellen fails with an attempt to clinch.
Ellen tries a head kick but it misses.
Slice swats away the attempt to clinch by Ellen.
Slice looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Slice fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Ellen throws a head kick that misses.

Slice feints and as Ellen raises his hands in defense, Slice changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Ellen holds on and takes a little breather.
Ellen is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Ellen trying to control the action but Slice is working from the bottom.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Ellen's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Ellen throws a sloppy head kick and Slice moves out of range easily.
Slice swats away the attempt to clinch by Ellen.

Slice tries to keep at a distance but Ellen has taken the fight into the clinch.
Slice letting Ellen take a breather here.

Ellen gets a trip takedown into half guard.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Slice is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Ellen scores with a couple of nice shots.
Slice on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Slice has hold of Ellen's hands but Ellen slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

Slice is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Ellen pulls his head out easily.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Ellen lands a nice short elbow.

Ellen winds up and cracks Slice with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Ellen content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.

Ellen is trying for a kimura here. Slice looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Ellen wins by kimura!
