The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shaw lands a jab to the nose.

It looks like Bruno Santos has been cut.
Sloppy strikes from Shaw. Those never looked like landing.
Nice jab there from Shaw.
Shaw misses the shot to the body.

Shaw lands a left and a right that send Santos crashing to the mat, dazed. Shaw thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Santos is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Shaw wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Santos is still on wobbly legs! Can Shaw finish him?
Shaw connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Shaw cracks Santos with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Santos falls to his knees and Shaw doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!

A relieved looking Danny Shaw thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
