Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Phet Mongkut (ranked 2145 p4p, 3747 weight class) and Lewis Pendragon (ranked 218 p4p, 352 weight class). Mongkut comes to the cage accompanied by Piphat Ensemble. Lewis Pendragon has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fighters circle momentarily. Mongkut darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Decent striking displayed by Pendragon there.
Pendragon keeps the fight on the outside.
Pendragon fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Mongkut throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Mongkut listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Pendragon lands with a nice body punch.
Pendragon lands a nice looking body shot.
Pendragon looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Pendragon stuns Mongkut with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Mongkut throws a series of punches but Pendragon avoids them all with ease.

Pendragon looks to score with a jab to the body but Mongkut is just out of range.

Phet Mongkut seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Pendragon throws a shot from downtown. Mongkut moves away and avoids it.
Mongkut is looking to counter the offense by Pendragon and move into the clinch.
Mongkut fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Pendragon throws out a counter right but Mongkut avoids it with no problem.
Mongkut pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Pendragon appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.

Mongkut throws a body punch but Pendragon moves out of range.

Pendragon lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.

Mongkut tries to clinch up but Pendragon circles away and keeps his distance.
Mongkut throws a leg kick but Pendragon sees it coming and checks it nicely.

It seemed like Pendragon was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

Mongkut takes one on the chin but seems OK.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Mongkut is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
A jab from Pendragon finds it's way through Mongkut's defenses.
We've been told by Mongkut's head coaches at Rough House that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Pendragon circles away from the clinch attempt
and Pendragon counters with a nice uppercut.
Pendragon cracks Mongkut with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

Mongkut is rocked!
Mongkut gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Oh Mongkut is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Pendragon ducks down and throws a big overhand right - it lands flush on the jaw, knocking Mongkut out cold! The fight is over!
