Lopez comes to the cage accompanied by Bob Dylan - Hurricane. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
letting Lopez counter with a right hand.

It looks like James Gracie has been cut.
Lopez has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Little Lebowski Urban Achievers Gymnasium in the buildup to the fight.
Gracie throws a lazy uppercut
and Lopez connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Gracie gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Gracie takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Gracie shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Lopez defends it nicely.
Carlos Lopez has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of James Gracie.

and Lopez counters with a nice uppercut.
